In anticipation of the Accra International Book Festival which opens in September this year, the programme for the celebration would be launched on August 14, 2018.
The event, which would be held at the J.H.K Nketia Conference Hall at the Institute of African Studies, will attract distinguished writers both from Ghana and outside as well as educationists, students and political figures.
The Accra International Book Festival will feature a wide range of informative workshops, lively author events, book fair and rousing debates aim to inspire and educate as well as offer Ghanaians the opportunity to discuss the hot topics of the day.
It will take place between September 6 to 9, 2018 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.
The inaugural event is anchored on the theme, Energising the reading public with quality and affordable books.
